📋 Description

• Negotiate contract pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to mitigate risk and achieve a competitive advantage in total cost, quality, and supply continuity for healthcare participants • Develop sourcing strategies by reviewing and analyzing sourcing data, market trends, and benchmarking best practices • Ensure sourcing strategies and supply chain processes are consistently applied, transparent, properly administered, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations • Support risk mitigation through contractual reviews • Develop and facilitate collaborative working relationships with Legal, Finance, Corporate Risk, internal teams, and end-user stakeholders • Perform contract management and maintenance tasks, including processing amendments, extensions, and product additions/deletions, across the full contract lifecycle • Provide updates on category strategies and supplier relationship management programs • Communicate key performance metrics and the status of process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives to leadership and stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required • A Bachelor's degree • 0-3 years of professional experience OR previous internship experience (healthcare supply chain, project management, or other relevant experience) • Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred • 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred
