📋 Description

• Support Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), medication access, benefit investigations, and specialty prior authorizations • Communicate with patients, pharmacists, prescribers, specialty pharmacies, and external assistance organizations to resolve medication access barriers • Maintain accurate patient records and verify supporting documentation • Follow applicable privacy, regulatory, and program requirements • Manage assistance applications and track approvals • Coordinate patient cases independently in a remote environment

🎯 Requirements

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable • 1+ year experience of high-level of PAP, Grant and Foundation experience required • 1+ year experience of high-level PA, PBM, FA, 340B experience required • State Licensure in the Supported State • Experience supporting Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), medication access, benefit investigations, and specialty prior authorizations • Knowledge of patient assistance resources, eligibility requirements, application processing, and foundation funding • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills • Ability to coordinate patient cases independently in a remote environment
