📋 Description

• Oversee daily accounting operations and month-end close • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports • Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts • Forecast expenditures and assist with revenue analysis • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures • Supervise and support the Staff Accountant, delegating and prioritizing tasks • Assist with audit preparation and internal controls compliance • Report to and collaborate with the Controller on key financial deliverables • Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with GAAP standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) • CPA required • 3+ years of accounting experience • Solid understanding of GAAP • Strong Excel and analytical skills • Excellent communication and organizational abilities • Self-starter who can operate independently in a remote environment • Must work EST or CST hours • Preferred: Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or healthcare accounting
