📋 Description

• Model and promote Agile values and principles within the organization • Work with the strategic Product Owner to define features and functionality • Collaborate with internal and external customers to document accurate project definitions • Guide the team and organization in using Agile/Scrum practices and values • Help the team self-organize and analyze and adapt to feedback, metrics, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Assess Scrum maturity and coach the team toward higher levels of maturity • Remove impediments or guide the team in removing them • Build a trusting and safe environment for raising problems and resolving issues • Facilitate delivery, discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and Scrum ceremonies • Improve internal and external communication, transparency, and information sharing • Support and educate the Product Owner on backlog readiness, grooming, and maintenance • Coordinate participation in backlog refinement, road mapping, release planning, and sprint planning • Collaborate with the Product Owner to write user stories and acceptance criteria, including technical dependencies • Assist with project deliverables, product documentation, and other deliverables • Participate in retrospectives and advocate for positive change and self-corrective behaviors • Maintain accurate and timely updates in time and project tracking systems • Enhance domain knowledge of systems, products, and industry • Collaborate with team members to identify and apply best practices • Plan and execute project implementations with the Product Owner and team • Identify and mitigate project risks • Bring technical product knowledge to strategic business conversations • Complete other assigned tasks and projects • Protect and secure client data against unauthorized access or improper transmission • Model the I-Client philosophy and Ascensus core values

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, practices, and rules • Experience with Scrum metrics and interpretation of metrics • Skills and knowledge in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency • Ability to anticipate issues and react proactively • Demonstrated success in a Business Analyst position or equivalent work experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Excellent analytical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening • Ability to anticipate project issues and help the team avoid or resolve them • Knowledge of PC applications, including SQL and MS Office products • Knowledge of common business applications and analytical tools • At least two years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory • Knowledge of other Agile approaches, including XP, Kanban, Crystal, and FDD • Knowledge and/or experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria • Applicable knowledge of technologies used by the team • Previous experience as a team lead • Excellent mentoring skills • Compliance with company and unit policies and procedures • Responsibility for protecting and securing client data
