📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the ASPCA Information Technology Salesforce instance • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support • Lead and develop a team of three Salesforce professionals • Manage performance, feedback, career development, training, hiring, timesheets, scheduling, and team goals • Lead planning, development, and implementation of custom, scalable Salesforce solutions • Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions • Oversee workflows, validation rules, approval processes, assignment rules, processes, and flows • Oversee CI/CD and Gearset pipeline management with the Salesforce Administrator/Release Manager • Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and clients on requirements, designs, roadmaps, and priorities • Communicate project status, solution benefits and risks, and level-of-effort estimates • Develop reports, dashboards, workflows, and processes to monitor data quality and integrity • Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, optimize performance, and ensure security protocol adherence • Monitor Salesforce system health and usage and identify improvements • Maintain user profiles, roles, permissions, record distribution, security, queues, licenses, capacity, database, and storage limits • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues • Provide off-hours support for mission-critical applications

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with Force.com Platform, including Apex, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and unit testing • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce Lightning and configuring Lightning Web Components • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce Flow Builder • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce.com out-of-the-box functionality and configuration • Force.com Migration Tool proficiency required • Knowledge of data migration from CSV, SQL, or other systems to Salesforce using tools such as Salesforce Data Loader preferred • Proficiency with GitHub code change control preferred • Knowledge of relational databases, database architecture, data modeling, and ETL tools • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, SaaS, and IT best practices • Knowledge of complex business systems integration, object-oriented design patterns, and development • Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML • English required • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience required • 2+ years of experience as a people manager leading and managing technical teams required • Experience as a Technical Lead and using Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and estimation required • Experience developing custom Salesforce solutions required • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications required • 2+ years using Salesforce to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions strongly preferred • Experience creating SOPs, maintaining tickets, creating incident reports, processing change requests, and troubleshooting technical problems preferred • Experience leading the planning, development, and implementation of custom and scalable Salesforce solutions preferred • Experience working at a nonprofit organization preferred • Experience using a Salesforce DevOps platform, Gearset preferred
