📋 Description

• Lead execution of enterprise initiatives, including capital projects, within the PMO delivery framework • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and subject matter experts to create and execute complex project plans, budgets, and schedules • Provide sponsors with regular reporting on project progress, outcome measures, organizational and department goals, and lessons learned • Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and challenges • Facilitate meetings, drive decisions, define next actions, and establish communication cadence • Address capacity, issues, resource allocation, interdependencies, and other project challenges • Ensure cross-functional work quality and keep deliverables current and accessible • Apply training, documentation, process changes, Gantt charts, status reports, and other project management solutions • Promote use of project management tools and in-house digital tools • Champion enterprise project delivery practices and improve delivery consistency and accountability • Coach and support teams on complex initiatives • Contribute to monthly Project Manager Cohort meetings • Promote transparency through accurate reporting and effective use of tools such as Planview • Support evolution of delivery practices as organizational priorities change • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to align expectations, resolve challenges, and support decision-making • Provide interim project or program leadership during critical gaps

🎯 Requirements

• Confidence and composure communicating at all levels, including executive audiences • Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments • Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage competing demands, and adapt to change • Ability to structure ambiguous situations, guide trade-offs, and facilitate decision-making • Strong conflict-management skills • Ability to promote accountability through accurate reporting and effective tool use • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Familiarity working or volunteering with animal welfare or nonprofit environments preferred • Ability to exemplify ASPCA core values and behavioral competencies • B.A./B.S. preferred or equivalent professional work experience required • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project or program management • Experience with project management frameworks and methodologies • Project-management certification or coursework strongly preferred • Experience managing complex, enterprise-level initiatives required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Office 365, Box, Canva, Teams, project management platforms, and dashboard development • Experience with Planview AdaptiveWork a plus • English language required • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% annually
