• Serve as the single contractor point of contact for all VHA programmatic and operational requests related to the Elevated Risk Care Management program • Lead end-to-end program management activities, including planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, and closing projects • Develop and maintain project charters, integrated master schedules, risk registers, status reports, and stakeholder communication plans • Coordinate and facilitate program reviews, working group meetings, and briefings with VA leadership, CORs, and cross-functional teams • Monitor program performance against KPIs and deliverable milestones, identify variances, and implement corrective action plans • Support continuous process improvement by identifying operational inefficiencies, documenting lessons learned, and recommending evidence-based solutions for Veteran care management
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing large-scale programs or multi-project portfolios within a large corporation, government agency, or healthcare organization • Full lifecycle program management experience from initiation through closeout • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Business, or a related field required • Demonstrated experience supporting a federal agency or large healthcare organization • Ability to obtain and maintain VA network access • Must meet VA background investigation, security, and suitability requirements for contractor personnel • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available • Active PMP certification or equivalent quality certification required at time of application, such as PgMP, CAPM with demonstrated senior-level experience, or Prince2 Practitioner • Preferred familiarity with VA, VHA, or other federal health program operations, compliance requirements, and stakeholder engagement norms • Desired experience supporting VA, VHA, federal behavioral health, or suicide prevention programs • Desired experience with federal COR oversight structures and Performance Work Statements • Desired familiarity with VistA, CDW, or VA Salesforce-based case management platforms • Desired experience applying Agile, hybrid, or iterative project management methodologies in federal health IT or clinical environments • Desired knowledge of federal health policy, Veterans mental health initiatives, or behavioral health care management best practices
