📋 Description

• Perform medical coding for Orthopedics/Multi Spec • Apply coding expertise across multiple specialties • Support HCC risk adjustment coding activities • Work remotely Monday–Friday for 40 hours per week, with hours varying based on departmental operational needs

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Coding education required, or an active coding certification in lieu of Medical Coding education • High School diploma or equivalent preferred • Associate's Degree in a healthcare related field preferred • 1 year of progressive coding experience required • 2 years progressive coding experience in multiple specialties, HCC Risk adjustment Coding preferred • One of the following certifications required upon hire: CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CRC, RHIT, or RHIA • Must reside in an approved remote work state for UW Health
