đź“‹ Description

• Review MRI orders for completeness, clinical appropriateness, and alignment with established imaging guidelines • Collaborate with radiologists to resolve complex protocoling questions and determine imaging strategies • Communicate protocol recommendations with ordering providers, schedulers, MRI technologists, and radiologists • Assist in protocol optimization initiatives to improve image quality, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes • Serve as an enterprise clinical resource for MRI protocol assignment, imaging appropriateness review, and MRI safety screening

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology or ARMRIT Pathway required • 3 years of experience in advanced modality protocoling, safety screening, and reviewing implant/device compatibility required • ARRT (R) certification upon hire required, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) certification upon hire required • ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MRI) certification required within 12 months • Associate's degree in a healthcare field preferred • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field preferred • Must be located in an approved remote work state for UW Health

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE position • 100% remote work • Ability to work from most approved remote work states • Variable hours between 6:30am and 5:30pm based on operational needs
