📋 Description

• Provide consulting services to clients nationwide and manage assigned client facilities for service delivery and cost effectiveness • Ensure timely delivery of consulting visits according to contractual obligations • Ensure assigned profit and loss goals are met • Submit internal reports and calendars according to company guidelines • Submit client reports after customer site visits according to company guidelines • Maintain timely communication with leadership about customer issues • Participate in team meetings, committees, and conference calls • Remain current on issues and regulations affecting the industry and long-term care field • Protect the confidentiality of residents and facility information • Perform clinical and regulatory compliance audits, mock surveys, medical-record reviews, Medicare and MDS process evaluations, and other clinically focused consulting services • Own other assigned tasks and projects

🎯 Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license • Ability to travel to client facilities weekly (75-80% travel requirement) • Five years of experience in long-term care required • Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, state surveyor, or regional nurse consultant preferred • Experience in clinical compliance and regulatory oversight • Knowledge of Medicare Part A skilled nursing facility coverage and documentation requirements • Knowledge of the MDS 3.0 and the RAI Manual • Knowledge of PDPM • Knowledge of the relationship between clinical documentation, coding, compliance, and reimbursement • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care facilities • Ability to collaborate with interdepartmental team members and engage with a wide base of clients • Superior written and verbal skills with ability to adjust the message to fit the audience • Strong organizational and time management skills • Adaptability to change and willingness to learn different processes
