📋 Description

• Provide consulting services to clients nationwide • Manage assigned client facilities for service delivery and cost-effectiveness • Deliver consulting visits according to contractual obligations • Meet assigned profit and loss goals • Submit internal and client reports according to company guidelines • Communicate customer issues to leadership in a timely manner • Participate in team meetings, committees, and conference calls • Remain current on long-term care industry issues and regulations • Protect the confidentiality of residents and facility information • Perform clinical and regulatory compliance audits, mock surveys, medical-record reviews, Medicare and MDS process evaluations, and other clinically focused consulting services • Complete assigned tasks and projects • Collaborate with interdepartmental team members to complete projects

🎯 Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license • Ability to travel to client facilities weekly (75-80% travel requirement) • Five years of experience in long-term care required • Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, state surveyor, or regional nurse consultant preferred • Experience in clinical compliance and regulatory oversight • Knowledge of Medicare Part A skilled nursing facility coverage and documentation requirements • Knowledge of MDS 3.0 • Knowledge of the RAI Manual • Knowledge of PDPM • Knowledge of the relationship between clinical documentation, coding, compliance, and reimbursement • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care facilities • Strong written and verbal skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Adaptability to change and willingness to learn different processes
