AssetWatch is an industrial asset condition-monitoring and predictive maintenance platform. It combines hardware sensors (continuous and route-based vibration monitoring, electrical monitoring, oil analysis and connected devices) with SaaS software capabilities — including AI plus human expert review and integrations — to give enterprise operators one view of equipment health. AssetWatch targets industrial/manufacturing customers (chemicals, food & beverage, forestry/building materials, metals, mining, pharmaceuticals, plastics, pulp & paper, water/wastewater) and monitors assets such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, blowers and compressors to reduce downtime and enable predictive maintenance.

📋 Description

• Design existing and future AssetWatch products • Develop mechanical product assemblies, fixtures, processes, and refinements to existing products • Ensure sound manufacturing methods, material selection, structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and documentation • Complete component DFM/A and BOM detailing, drawings, instructions, and specification of OTS parts with the Supply Chain team • Develop assemblies in SolidWorks using top-down best practices • Build and test product prototypes • Guide new products to production readiness • Work independently and with internal and external partners • Manage projects, maintain schedules, and communicate progress toward objectives • Report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience developing consumer products in Solidworks (CAD) • Expertise designing and testing waterproof enclosures • Experience working with electronics assemblies and production process • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production methods including injection molding, machining, fixturing, tooling and factory process • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering from drawings and revision control to DFM/DFA, test and tooling design • Hands-on experience building, breaking and fixing real products • Ability to work effectively on a distributed remote team • Ability to execute product development steps independently, manage projects, maintain project schedules and communicate progress • Candidates must be able to collaborate within core working hours • Nice-to-have qualifications include shipping hardware products at scale, working with domestic/overseas manufacturing partners, hazardous-location design (ATEX, HAZLOC, or similar), industrial and safety-regulated environments, IoT devices, startup culture, diverse teams, and process improvements
