📋 Description

• Support the governance, compliance, analysis, and operational execution of Assurant’s benefits programs. • Maintain the U.S. benefits compliance calendar, trackers, and supporting documentation. • Coordinate recurring compliance deliverables, including Form 5500 filings and nondiscrimination testing. • Support Mental Health Parity (MHPAEA) testing and related compliance reviews. • Identify trends, risks, emerging issues, and opportunities that inform benefits recommendations. • Track benefits program expenses, budgets, invoices, credits, and financial commitments. • Support benefit-related projects, including Open Enrollment and M&A due diligence activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 3 years experience in benefits administration, total rewards, compensation & benefits, or related HR analytical roles. • Advanced Excel skills e.g., formula reading/writing, pivot tables, V-lookups. • Benefits audits, compliance filing familiarity. • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
