📋 Description

• Provide frontline, direct contact with clients and customers through telephone calls, faxes, email, system tasks, correspondence, mail, express delivery, reports, and project assignments • Serve as backup resource to the Call Center Department and process inbound calls as needed • Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting • Assist and mentor Research Specialists • Research and address escalated issues • Train associates and support the team lead • Recognize recurring problem areas and report them for action • Retain accounts and suggest or encourage use of other services and products • Promote and sell products or services and enter or confirm sales when applicable • Follow standard procedures and policies while using judgment in customer responses • Provide collateral protection services and add lender-placed insurance for uninsured customers • Perform root-cause research and resolve complex loan-level inquiries and exception items • Prepare responses to customers and clients • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to hazard insurance, mortgage banking, and property loss • Work in multi-client/multifunctional environments • Handle escalated inquiries and assignments • Assist with projects and cross-training initiatives • Assist with facilitation of new-hire training

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Intermediate computer skills, including ability to create, edit, and analyze spreadsheets and emails • Minimum of 3 years customer service, banking, finance, mortgage lending, or related experience • Proficient verbal and written communication with customers/clients • Strong attention to detail • Strong customer service skills • Excellent listening skills • Ability to adapt well to change • Ability to work well in a team environment and as an individual contributor • Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-stress environment • Ability to think outside the box to resolve problems • Ability to relay and document accurate and detailed information via inbound and outbound telephone calls and written communication • Two-year degree preferred
