📋 Description

• Work in close contact and effectively interact with the entire design team as well as external clients and consultants • Progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues • Work on problems of limited scope and follow detailed instructions • Establish system design of lighting, power, systems and technology • Coordinate design with a project manager, senior team members and outside design consultants • Participate in QA/QC process for own work and the work of others • Assist in determining project scheduling requirements and project budgets • Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and preparing detailed inspection reports • Assist in processing RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda • Research equipment selections and complete equipment schedules • Document existing conditions • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Builds stable working relationships internally • Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data • Basic understanding of applicable codes • Understanding of design and calculation software • Ability to learn how to lay out portions of the electrical systems for projects • Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment with purchasing, quality assurance, manufacturing and engineering personnel • Communicate effectively in English, in both oral and written forms • Must be knowledgeable in electrical and electronic engineering principles • Ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing • Ability to move from place to place within an office environment • Must be able to use a computer • Ability to communicate effectively • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
