📋 Description

• Serve as the first point of defense for network-related incidents, providing 24x7 network support for production and corporate networks • Troubleshoot Layer 1–3 issues and maintain WAN, BGP, ISIS, LAN, FHRP, VLAN, STP and related services • Proactively monitor production network health, assess risks and take mitigation actions for quick service restoration • Deliver customer-centric support through multiple communication channels • Create and update SOPs for network change management, issue analysis and mitigation strategies • Install, configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and VPN endpoints • Perform network maintenance and upgrades during normal hours and occasionally evenings or weekends • Troubleshoot network issues and outages • Participate in global production and corporate network infrastructure, including edge, backbone, datacenter, POP and CDN infrastructure • Handle vendor switches on servers for hardware and software issues • Handle traffic and queries raised by ISPs and partners • Provide incident support for input errors, CRC, RMA and related issues • Work directly with ISPs and vendors to resolve network issues • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Full understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, Active Directory, firewalls, wireless controllers, DNS, email, virtual machines and software applications • Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies • Understanding of server hardware technologies relative to content delivery performance and capacity • CCNA or equivalent • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Flexibility with shift schedules, including weekend coverage and morning or swing shifts • Ability to perform office-related tasks, including prolonged sitting or standing • Ability to move from place to place within an office environment • Ability to use a computer • Ability to communicate effectively
