📋 Description

• Manage the configuration, installation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure, including PaloAlto firewalls, Cisco VPN Concentrators, Cisco CSR devices, and cloud networking in AWS and Azure • Design, implement, and support network components within cloud platforms • Monitor network operation, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions • Plan implementation details and apply project management skills to ensure seamless implementations • Implement cloud security measures and follow cloud security best practices • Install network devices and services, including routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations • Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, VPN concentrators, and Network Access Control in cloud platforms • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

🎯 Requirements

• BS and 5+ years of experience within networking • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI • Experience with cloud or on-premises Cisco and PaloAlto firewalls • Advanced-level experience with at least two of EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF • Working technical knowledge of TCP/IP networks and IEEE 802.1 standards • Familiarity with MPLS, Frame Relay, ATM, ISDN, and related network topologies • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) • Experience with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IPsec (AES 256), firewalls, IPS, route-maps, and NACLs • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP network technologies, including DNS, DHCP, TFTP, NAT, and SSL • AWS Advanced Networking Certificate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, and CCNP or higher are desired, not required
