📋 Description

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of large-scale Data Center builds and retrofits from initiation to delivery • Coordinate multiple pioneering AI implementations in terms of scale and design • Coordinate work performed by network engineers, data center technicians, and internal customers/partners • Define project requirements and perform feasibility and needs/impact assessments • Develop detailed project plans and manage asset management, resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints • Manage multiple, cross-functional and technical network deployment projects • Partner with functional teams during initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and post-deployment phases • Manage and track program milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables • Manage assets and materials across data centers and warehouses • Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reviews, process documents, and risk analysis • Define project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility • Drive project lifecycle milestones from concept commit through project closure and advocate change management • Use metrics and KPIs to measure project performance and provide regular status updates • Participate in internal process improvements and remove gaps across teams and functions • Identify and track risks, execute risk analysis and risk management, and provide mitigation strategies • Serve as a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders • Coordinate regularly scheduled meetings with core teams • Evaluate post-project results against metrics and recommend or implement changes to improve delivery practices and processes • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 2 to 5 years of project management experience in a high-pressure, and fast-paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware • 2+ years of experience with data center lifecycles and/or large-scale networks • Builds productive internal and external working relationships • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action • Understanding of project management teams, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, documentation) • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently • Self-starter who is able to quickly learn new tools and gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance • Experience creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation • Strong observational and analytical skills, including: ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to track and report metrics, and manage risks • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives • Willingness to work across multiple North American time zones (remotely or from the local client office) • Various certifications (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, etc.) • Understanding of the OSI model • Familiarity with various project management methodologies
