📋 Description

• Process products related to pre-employment background applications, including MVRs, civil court cases, criminal cases and registries, drug testing, and OFAC • Retrieve and enter data from computer/web-based systems, files, and other documents related to applicants’ histories • Locate information quickly and accurately in accordance with applicable state laws and procedures • Use software programs to provide instant criminal results to clients • Examine internet databases to investigate and adjudicate criminal records • Perform data entry using spreadsheet or database commands • Conduct extensive internet inquiries and searches to supplement criminal records • Analyze collected information to identify potential problems or discrepancies • Contact clients and outside resources via email and/or phone to verify information • Update order statuses appropriately • Handle confidential information responsibly and with good judgment • Monitor and implement processing and system changes • Manage and track productivity time using Google Docs • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in customer service or with research/investigations is required • Experience with internet researching is required • Experience with the legal/court system is preferred • Experience with background screening is preferred • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required • Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred • High school diploma or equivalent is required • Bachelor's degree is preferred • If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred • Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required • Normal Eastern Time Zone business hours generally apply • Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license may be required • Occasional overnight travel may be required
