📋 Description

• Report to the Senior Director of Commercial Nuclear Services • Lead all aspects of assigned AtkinsRéalis new nuclear and fuel cycle projects • Lead AtkinsRéalis project team members • Develop work execution plans, work breakdown structures, deliverables, organizational charts, budgets, schedules, subcontract and supplier strategies, risk management plans, project forecasts, and people forecasts and leveling • Establish high standards for Health & Safety and Nuclear Safety Culture • Lead the project organization through AtkinsRéalis core values • Assemble project teams through recruiting, interviewing, and/or selecting staff • Establish training and development programs • Coordinate with functional managers and Integrated Project Delivery partner companies • Ensure work progresses according to safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements • Develop project scopes and deliverable definitions in compliance with contracts and customer requirements • Manage contracts, scope and change control, requirements, subcontractors, suppliers, and flow-down requirements • Oversee nuclear and industrial safety programs, training, corrective actions, and performance standards • Apply key performance indicators and establish project reporting protocols • Ensure compliance with ethical, cybersecurity, import-export, intellectual property, and security clearance requirements • Oversee procurement, subcontract management, supplier performance, invoicing, accruals, and supply chain strategies • Apply project controls for planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, cashflow, invoicing, forecasting, and resource management • Develop and implement detailed project execution plans and report to clients and senior management • Perform risk analysis using industry best practices, Monte Carlo methodology, and contingency draw-down curves • Maintain relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and project stakeholders • Prepare and secure approvals for project bids, changes, and settlements under corporate Level of Authority procedures • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or equivalent experience • Minimum of 15 years commercial nuclear experience • Minimum of 10 years project management experience • Minimum of 10 years' experience leading teams • Experience working in a live Nuclear environment • Successful management experience • Demonstrated technical and management abilities • Proficient verbal and written communication skills • Ability to scope, task and control work assigned to a diverse team • Ability to independently and critically review Engineering work products and provide technical guidance, feedback, mentorship, and quality control • Ability to constructively interact with internal and external customers • Self-starter able to work in a team environment with minimal direction and supervision • Experience and judgment with creativity and latitude • Understanding of building and maintaining strong multidiscipline teams • Experience in Nuclear Reactor new design and construction projects • Understanding of large EPC work, including subcontracts and prime contract management • Understanding of nuclear supply chain and materials management principles • Appreciation of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills • Understanding of project delivery methodology, including earned value, critical path scheduling, prime contract and subcontract management, procurement and supply chain methodology, construction work packaging, and associated inspection and test plans • Working knowledge of industrial safety and nuclear safety culture • Experience working in an Integrated Project Delivery model • Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered
