📋 Description

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements pertaining to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition • Work closely with the manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals • Perform UAT and track and resolve issues discovered during UAT • Implement and document processes and procedures, including SOX compliance and internal controls • Evaluate accounting implications and confirm operational support for changes under ASC 606 • Provide accounting guidance to project teams and developers • Support training efforts and the transition to new business models and system flows • Collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of relevant work experience • Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity • Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data • Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition • CPA certification or equivalent practical experience preferred • Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems preferred • Proficiency in Excel preferred • Experience in software or SaaS industry preferred • Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills preferred • Ability to inspire, influence and encourage others preferred • Working hours based on PST time zone
