📋 Description

• Own end-to-end test strategy across user interface, APIs, and analytics layers • Design, build, and maintain automated UI, API, integration, data-validation, and model-validation test suites • Build and maintain reliable regression coverage running on every change • Create and manage realistic test data, including messy customer-data inputs • Perform exploratory testing of new functionality • Validate data accuracy through ingestion and transformation across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers • Validate model outputs against expected results, baselines, and golden datasets for consistency and reproducibility • Test risk-calculation edge cases, geospatial correctness, and AI-assisted extraction and gap-filling workflows • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and implement quality gates • Own test-environment configuration, data seeding, teardown, and relevant infrastructure-as-code contributions • Maintain fast, stable, trustworthy test automation and report quality signals • Coordinate release testing and sign-off • Support performance/load testing, security testing, access-control and tenant-isolation testing, and upgrade/migration-path verification • Produce audit-defensible test evidence and maintain requirements-to-results traceability • Document validation approaches, results, and known limitations for each model release • Translate requirements into testable acceptance criteria with Product • Partner with engineers on testability, unit/integration coverage, and defect triage • Advocate for quality during design reviews and identify risks early • Maintain defect-management practices, including reproducible steps, severity, impact analysis, and fix verification

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of software quality assurance experience spanning both manual and automated testing • Hands-on test automation experience across UI and API layers using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, or REST Assured • Strong SQL skills and ability to independently validate data • Scripting or programming proficiency, ideally in Python or JavaScript, sufficient to build and maintain an automation framework • Demonstrable CI/CD experience, including integrating automated tests into pipelines, implementing quality gates, and supporting environment promotion • Experience testing REST APIs, including contract testing, authentication, error handling, and asynchronous workflows • Experience with test planning, test-case design, defect management, and release sign-off • Working knowledge of Git and branch-based development workflows • Strong written communication skills, with ability to create clear defect reports and test documentation • Preferred: experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, analytics platforms, machine learning or statistical model outputs, Databricks, Spark, modern lakehouse platforms, performance/load testing, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), multi-tenant SaaS, geospatial data validation, AI-assisted or agentic coding tools • Nice to have: regulated-industry audit experience, pipeline integrity or asset-management concepts, security testing, legacy-data migrations, accessibility testing
