📋 Description

• Serve as a key subject matter expert on Medicare, Medicaid, and drug pricing policy affecting pharmaceutical/biotech, health insurance, pharmacy, and PBM industries • Generate strategic and tactical recommendations responsive to clients’ policy and business needs • Lead day-to-day execution of client projects and engagements under executive leadership • Manage project teams and set project or engagement execution strategy • Ensure quality and timely delivery to clients • Develop new and creative offerings for changing client needs • Participate in firm-wide strategic and planning discussions • Develop and execute business development plans contributing to Policy Practice sales and revenue goals • Supervise, train, and mentor staff • Author thought leadership raising the profile of personal expertise and practice capabilities • Provide analytic support and advisory services, including legislative strategy, regulatory analysis, and quantitative modeling of proposed and enacted policies

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in public health, public policy, political science, healthcare management, health policy, public administration, economics, business administration, or a relevant discipline • Significant experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulation and conveying findings and implications • Sophisticated understanding of healthcare-sector policy issues and marketplace business dynamics • Experience overseeing and supervising colleagues' work • Situational leadership skills and ability to motivate individuals across organizational levels • Exemplary interpersonal skills • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration • Outstanding problem-solving and analytic skills • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience • Deep knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policy, including Medicare Part D and the Inflation Reduction Act’s Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program • Prior project management and/or leadership experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Graduate degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred • Prior employment in pharmaceutical/biotech, life sciences consulting/advisory, or a federal government executive branch agency strongly preferred • Experience with a health insurance company, PBM, trade group, advocacy organization, healthcare-focused financial services firm, or Congress highly desired
