📋 Description

• Establish and govern the global supply chain strategy across all regions and business segments • Translate supply chain strategy into an operating model, priorities, and execution roadmap • Own the supply chain center of excellence and execute action plans to achieve targets • Orchestrate supply chain management across product lines, including raw material planning, raw material inventory management, production planning, and finished-goods scheduling • Communicate warehousing needs and manage finished-goods distribution through the end-to-end global supply chain • Report metrics and organize standard meetings to improve supply chain performance, including trade compliance • Create, develop, and communicate supply chain strategy aligned with business strategy • Own supply chain financial performance, budgets, working capital, inventory reserves, productivity, service, cost-to-serve, and realized financial benefits • Lead Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Network Supply Strategy • Lead a global organization of directors and/or senior managers, including capability, succession, leadership pipeline, workforce strategy, organizational design, and development • Define and approve global supply chain policies, planning standards, inventory governance models, and performance frameworks • Drive consistent tools and processes across functions and collaborate with global sourcing to resolve chronic supply issues • Establish decision rights and resolve cross-functional tradeoffs involving service, inventory, capacity, sourcing, cost, and customer commitments • Co-own the Integrated Business Planning and S&OP governance framework with the Sr. Director, Demand Planning • Represent BMP Chemicals supply chain interests with suppliers, customers, manufacturing partners, and external stakeholders • Advise executive leadership on portfolio, capital investment, customer service, sourcing, and growth decisions • Maintain master data accuracy • Lead supply chain transformation, including process standardization, digital enablement, advanced analytics, planning-system evolution, and sustained adoption • Ensure capacity and capabilities support growth and innovation plans • Own global supply chain risk management, business continuity, geopolitical risk mitigation, supplier resiliency, and strategic inventory policies • Lead responses to major supply chain disruptions and coordinate executive decisions and recovery plans • Establish manufacturing and distribution network strategy, including nearshoring/reshoring, external manufacturing, long-term capacity planning, and a three- to five-year roadmap • Manage development, roll-up, and communication of demand forecasting and inventory management impact to finance and manufacturing operations • Develop, communicate, and monitor production plans to meet customer service and inventory targets with manufacturing sites • Own enterprise supply chain performance, including inventory turns, service levels, working capital, and productivity • Drive supply tradeoff decisions in S&OP or S&OE • Participate in new product development, product introductions and releases, phase-outs, inventory control, customer service planning, and obsolete inventory reduction

🎯 Requirements

• Masters in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field required • MBA preferred • Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) preferred • Minimum of ten (10) years in commercial and operations-oriented activities • At least eight (8) years in key management roles directly responsible for strategic leadership in Operations and/or Supply Chain Planning functions • Deep knowledge of planning / S&OP process and understanding of business / financial goals • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals • Chemical industry experience • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP/APO experience required • Demonstrated use of OpEx/ABS/or other continuous improvement techniques and methodology • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work globally and cross-functionally • Understanding of financial impact of plans and actions • Well-developed project management skills • Strong strategic agility, change leadership, collaboration, and influence skills • Proven ability to lead and develop a global organization • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive management • Excellent presentation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
