📋 Description

• Obtain and receive authorization approvals for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers • Work with branch staff to obtain necessary paperwork for authorization requests • Obtain referrals and authorizations according to each patient's insurance • Track and update authorization information in the medical record • Maintain working relationships with payers, branch staff, and the revenue cycle team • Follow up on pending and expiring authorizations • Contact insurance case managers and obtain authorization for follow-up visits across all disciplines • Embed the organization's mission and values in every interaction

🎯 Requirements

• One or more years of insurance authorization experience preferred • Experience in the health care billing industry preferred • Utilization management experience and pre-certification helpful • Customer Service experience • Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 schedule
