📋 Description

• Research and process claims according to business regulations, internal standards, and processing guidelines • Verify procedure and diagnosis coding • Resolve system edits, audits, and claims errors through research and approved references and investigative sources • Coordinate with internal departments to work edits and deferrals • Update patient identification, other health insurance, provider identification, and other files as necessary • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned • Maintain confidentiality, information security, productivity, safe equipment use, and compliance with remote-work and contract procedures

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Must successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings, including a drug screening • Ability to obtain and maintain required access approvals, credentials, background clearances, or system access applicable to the assigned contract • One (1) year of experience in a healthcare or insurance environment (preferred) • Ability to use complex mathematical calculations (preferred) • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications (preferred) • Proficiency in database software (preferred) • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Strong customer service skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficient spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills • Good judgment skills • Basic business math skills • Ability to use standard office equipment • Ability to perform established essential functions and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
