📋 Description

• Support the monthly close process, quarterly rolling forecasts, budgeting, and forecasting activities • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Perform ad hoc financial analyses • Prepare and submit reports to corporate partners • Provide insights supporting operational and strategic decision-making • Collaborate with Finance Operations, clinical leaders, and cross-functional teams to review financial performance, identify trends, and support process improvement • Participate in department meetings • Lead or contribute to special projects • Analyze and interpret financial data for decision support • Gather and challenge assumptions, develop financial proformas, and assist with business plans • Lead financial processes including operating budgets, forecasting, program reporting and analysis, charge management, cost accounting, decision support, and contracting and reimbursement analysis • Ensure regulatory compliance and support internal customers with contractual and regulatory requirements • Identify and implement operating improvements and efficiencies • Provide strategic financial guidance based on data analysis • Support financial systems software implementation and functionality improvements • Develop and present financial indicators and education programs • Prepare management and regulatory reports and assist in developing performance measures • Provide financial analysis support for multiple facilities where applicable

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience • 7+ years of experience in financial management • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects • Excellent human relations skills • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and outside professionals • Proficiency in sophisticated software programs • Proven advanced analytical and modeling skills • Operational skills and knowledge in healthcare • Strong leadership and confidence • Ability to read and understand technical pronouncements • Ability to identify compliance issues and make independent decisions • Previous supervisory/team leadership experience preferred • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred • Experience in healthcare financial management preferred • Additional related education and/or experience preferred • Candidates must reside in the state of Arizona • Availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Arizona Time
