📋 Description

• Support the monthly close process, quarterly rolling forecasts, budgeting, and forecasting activities • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Perform ad hoc financial analyses • Prepare and submit reports to corporate partners • Provide insights supporting operational and strategic decision-making • Collaborate with Finance Operations, clinical leaders, and cross-functional teams to review financial performance, identify trends, and support process improvement initiatives • Participate in department meetings and lead or contribute to special projects • Gather data from various sources to document and analyze statistics and financial information • Generate monthly, bi-weekly, and ad hoc financial reports • Maintain the integrity of financial information systems, statistical files, databases, and reporting • Manage key financial processes including operating budgets, forecasts, program reporting and analysis, charge management, cost accounting, decision support, and reimbursement analysis • Provide financial modeling resources for special projects • Identify outliers and trends and present data and analysis results • Prepare reports and presentations for state and federal agencies, administration, and corporate stakeholders • Identify and implement operating improvements and efficiencies • Educate users and non-financial staff on financial reporting systems, tools, and resources • Provide financial analysis support for multiple facilities within the Western Region when assigned • Consult with internal departments, government agencies, healthcare facilities, professional organizations, and outside vendors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience • Three to four years of experience in healthcare financial management/analysis work • Excellent analytical and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities with changing needs and deadlines • Excellent human relations skills • Ability to effectively interact and communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and outside professionals • Strong abilities in statistical analysis and data interpretation • Proficiency in computer software applications, database and spreadsheet programs • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques to generate management reports, projections, allocations, and analyses
