📋 Description

• Accurately abstract and interpret clinical data from patient medical records to identify and record cancer diagnoses • Track oncology patient data throughout the full course of care, from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up • Input complete, high-quality data into national cancer registries and internal databases • Maintain a consistent workflow of abstracting 5 cases per day • Support quality management initiatives in collaboration with Baptist MD Anderson Oncology Leadership • Utilize multiple data sources to ensure comprehensive and accurate patient case tracking • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with cancer reporting standards

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma Required • Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Preferred • Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AL, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MI, NC, OH, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY • Ability to accurately abstract and interpret clinical data from patient medical records • Ability to track oncology patient data throughout diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up • Ability to input complete, high-quality data into national cancer registries and internal databases • Ability to maintain a workflow of abstracting 5 cases per day • Ability to utilize multiple data sources for comprehensive patient case tracking • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain compliance with cancer reporting standards
