📋 Description

• Lead a team of accounting professionals • Support the Director, General Accounting • Collaborate with Baptist Health’s system-wide entities • Guarantee suitable application and execution of procedures and processes required to comply with current accounting regulations • Manage requirements of external auditors • Encourage prompt resolution of audit problems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance • Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles • Knowledge and expertise in technical accounting and evaluations skills • Knowledge on working with technical accounting matters and being skillful in offering analytica solutions to these matters • Experience leading staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented nature • Strong communication skills • Minimum 5 years of experience • MBA or Master of Accounting degree preferred • CPA preferred (not required)
