📋 Description

• Assess host and network threats, including computer viruses, exploits, and malicious attacks • Determine true threats and false positives • Provide timely solutions to detected security issues • Monitor for potential compromise, intrusion, significant events, or threats to the company’s security posture • Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation • Collect, analyze, escalate, and respond to cybersecurity attacks • Produce documentation related to cybersecurity attacks • Train and mentor junior analysts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 5 years of related work experience, preferably in IT Security, Information Systems, or IT-related fields • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon required • Experience with network detection and response (NDR) platforms required • Experience working in a 24x7 Security Operations Center or Managed Security Service Provider • Experience in network intrusion detection using IDS, IPS, SIEM, and Syslog tools • Familiarity with threat intelligence services and indicators-of-compromise feeds for SIEM use • Understanding of common network vulnerabilities, penetration testing tools, and red teaming concepts • Broad information cybersecurity knowledge, including common attack methodologies, tactics, protocols, Advanced Persistent Threat groups, and hacker activities • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with outside stakeholders • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills • CrowdStrike NextGen SIEM experience strongly preferred • ExtraHop experience strongly preferred • Proofpoint experience a plus • ServiceNow Security Incident Response or comparable case management/ticketing platform experience preferred • CISSP, OSCP, SEC+, GIAC, CEH, CISA, or CISM a plus
