📋 Description

• Coordinate timely patient access to services by verifying insurance coverage and benefits • Assist patients with reimbursement, out-of-pocket costs, and financial assistance programs • Manage prior authorization requirements with healthcare providers, payers, and patients • Review and reconcile patient balances to support accurate billing and collections • Provide guidance on financial assistance programs and payment options • Collaborate with billing, clinical, and customer experience teams to resolve inquiries and concerns • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and financial assistance applications • Monitor healthcare regulation and reimbursement policy changes • Participate in process improvement initiatives • Handle patient information and financial data in compliance with privacy regulations • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in revenue cycle operations or patient access • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing healthcare billing systems • Strong understanding of insurance verification, prior authorization, and reimbursement processes • Excellent communication skills with patients, payers, and internal stakeholders • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Ability to comply with healthcare privacy and financial data regulations
