📋 Description

• Support research efforts aimed at developing evaluations and conducting experience analyses for health insurance products • Analyze areas including risk adjustment, pricing, and valuation • Analyze potential legislation for financial impacts to healthcare costs • Research potential health insurance policy changes for premium impacts • Work Monday–Friday during 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET, for a minimum of 20 and up to 40 hours per week • Participate in BCBST’s BlueBridge Internship Program

🎯 Requirements

• Active college student in an accredited college or university who has completed a minimum of two years of college • Recent college graduates are eligible • Students enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in an accredited college or university are eligible • Must provide transcripts • Majors in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics preferred • Reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred • Proactive self-starter • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and their application to actuarial and business challenges • Able to prioritize, work independently, and effectively manage time and resources • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Appropriate decision-making skills required • GPA of 2.75 or higher • Sponsorship is not available for this role • Active full-time BCBST employees are not eligible to participate in the program
