📋 Description

• Participate in customer meetings and conference calls to facilitate interface design, training, and validation • Establish long-term business relationships with internal and external customers • Provide team support and in-depth product information on assigned BD products • Interact with customer teams, gain consensus, and deliver concise, consistent communication • Consult Senior/Principal Integration Engineers as appropriate • Demonstrate knowledge of BD products and their integration with customer systems • Support integration with hospital information systems and system validation • Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams at medium to large healthcare organizations • Participate in Integration Engineer Learning Path training activities • Participate in product/version upgrade integration validation • Plan and implement projects aligned with company and customer objectives • Troubleshoot and consult on BD product integration, best practices, and standardization • Act as team liaison for assigned BD products and host systems • Maintain accurate account backups and documentation • Complete project documentation on time • Monitor and provide updates on escalated critical issues • Comply with BD and Integration Engineer policies and procedures • Work independently and adapt to changing priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience • Knowledge of HIS integration systems, BD products, and hospital workflow • Three or more years in a healthcare environment with technical systems involvement and computerized system applications • Knowledge of HL7 and EDI standards • Experience with integrated delivery networks/multi-facility health systems required • Suggested certifications include HL7, MCSE, HIPAA, and interface engine experience (eGate, Cloverleaf, Mirth, etc.) • Must lift a minimum of 80 lbs. • Must provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations required by customer facilities • Must maintain a current driver’s license and meet BD auto safety requirements • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends • Ability to work independently from a home office • Willingness to travel overnight as required
