📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end solution management for pharmacy automation and outpatient pharmacy portfolios • Prioritize customer experience from pre-sales through post-implementation • Consult customers on implementing and optimizing retail, ambulatory, and long-term care pharmacy automation solutions • Perform customer current-state assessments and create future-state strategies aligned with customer objectives • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external team members on recommendations and proposed solutions • Engage implementation resources and remain the point of contact through engagement completion • Work with sales and customer service organizations to prioritize activities • Collaborate with implementation and support resources to optimize customer application of solutions • Mentor internal staff on best practices • Provide sales consultation and workflow analysis for medication management and supply chain systems • Identify inefficiencies, patient/provider safety concerns, revenue opportunities, cost reductions, regulatory non-compliance, and drug diversion opportunities • Redesign workflows and recommend practice changes using BD solutions • Provide clinical consulting support and develop customer-specific strategic BD solution roadmaps • Remain engaged throughout the customer lifecycle as a strategic point of contact • Build partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Product Research and Development, Interface, Implementation and Support, Customer Advocacy, and Training teams • Provide healthcare-industry input for new product development and software enhancements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Engineering or a related field required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare or pharmacy related operations required (in-patient or out-patient) • Background in retail/outpatient pharmacy operations/workflow design required • Long-term care experience preferred • Advanced degree or certifications in pharmacy automation are a plus • Must be based in CO, NM, AZ, CA, NV, OR, WA, MN, ID, WY, or UT • Lean six sigma certification preferred • Up to 75% travel required, including nights and some weekends • Lives within 1 hour to a major airport • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards • Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, including LTC-based care continuum medication management and supply chain processes • Thorough knowledge of pharmacy and materials management practices/workflows and BD’s pharmacy automation dispensing solution • Deep solution expertise for outpatient and long-term care pharmacy specialties • Dynamic presentation skills and excellent business writing skills • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, work independently, and demonstrate critical thinking • Ability to collaborate with sales, customer service, implementation, support, marketing, product research and development, interface, customer advocacy, and training teams
