📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design for assigned Agent Experience initiatives, from problem framing and research through prototyping, validation, and implementation partnership • Design workflows for independent agents, wholesalers, and internal back-office teams, including role-based permissions and data import workflows • Conduct and synthesize user interviews, usability testing, moderated sessions with external agents, and data analysis • Shape problems, approaches, and success criteria with product managers while requirements are forming • Create user flows, diagrams, Figma designs, and coded prototypes for stakeholders, engineering, and external partners • Navigate shared code repositories, read existing prototypes, iterate in an IDE with AI assistance, and partner with engineers • Design integration experiences involving single sign-on, pre-fill, status, and quoting APIs • Partner with engineering to protect design integrity while balancing technical constraints • Contribute to design critiques and elevate design quality across the team • Champion user-centered design in a regulated product where trust, accuracy, and compliance matter • Collaborate with Engineering, Revenue, Ops, product managers, external agents, carrier partners, and distribution partners • Report to the Senior Design Manager, New Business, and collaborate closely with the Staff Product Designer for New Business

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 3–5 years of product design experience • Experience ideally in complex or regulated products such as fintech, healthcare, enterprise B2B, insurance, or similar • Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, research-to-shipping discipline, and interaction and visual detail • Track record of delivering product work with measurable impact • Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping approaches • Required hands-on experience building or iterating on designs in an IDE or code-based environment, such as Cursor, VS Code with AI assistants, or Claude Code • Strong preference for comfort reading and navigating coded prototypes and collaborating in repositories • Strong preference for demonstrated use of AI in daily design practice • Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders and holding a point of view • Experience with design systems and component libraries • Strong analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative inputs • Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills • Ability to operate amid ambiguity and incomplete information • Ability to work within shared design direction and proactively give and receive critique • Preferred: experience designing for professional or agent-facing channels • Preferred: experience spanning two companies’ brands • Preferred: experience with quoting, pricing, illustration, or configurator interfaces • Preferred: experience with agentic or multi-step AI workflows • Preferred: familiarity with design-system-to-code pipelines • Must reside in the contiguous 48 states of the United States • Employment eligibility verification is required; visa sponsorship needs are addressed in the application
