📋 Description

• Transform customer and business objectives into compelling, simple, purposeful, and feasible products • Develop multiple solutions for defined challenges across the product suite • Manage projects from discovery and concept ideation through flows, wireframes, and full-fidelity prototypes to delivery • Ensure designs prioritize non-technical users, focusing on simplicity, speed, and trust • Partner with leadership and product marketing stakeholders to align design concepts with customer needs and desired results • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and designers in a triad model • Present design processes, inspiration, decisions, and rationale to stakeholders • Use storytelling to communicate complex design rationale and build alignment • Share work in design reviews, triage feedback, and iterate on solutions • Champion cohesion, consistency, accessibility, experience strategy, and design system usage • Apply and contribute to the evolution of design system standards • Connect screens into cohesive flows • Apply Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and user-centered design principles • Conduct customer interviews and usability tests and translate findings into design iterations • Understand customer needs, core workflows, and business goals to make informed design decisions • Continuously develop design skills and depth in one or two core areas • Coach peers and share learnings with the team • Nurture WorkWave's culture and principles • Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback • Stay current with design trends, tools, methodologies, and AI-powered product design

🎯 Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience as a user experience/product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role • Proven experience successfully delivering product design initiatives that improved user outcomes or business metrics • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital products that delivered results and showcase the depth of design skills • Proven experience clearly communicating design decisions and their impact on the customer • Capacity to communicate and present complex problems clearly to diverse audiences • Deep understanding of user-centered design processes and human-computer interaction principles • Ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of design decisions • Proficiency in modern design tools, with Figma preferred • Experience using qualitative and quantitative research methods • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in the design field • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with design trends and best practices • Experience with complex workflows for enterprise or SaaS products, particularly B2B environments, is advantageous • Experience with service industry workflows or field service management is advantageous • Experience with enterprise product design or financial services product design is advantageous • Experience with AI-powered features or data-driven product experiences is advantageous • Experience with systems/service-level problems is advantageous • Knowledge of Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and service design principles is advantageous • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices is advantageous • Experience with design systems and component-based design is advantageous • Experience mentoring junior designers or leading design initiatives is advantageous • Experience with cross-functional product teams using agile methodologies is advantageous • Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders and executives is advantageous
