📋 Description

• Research and write blog content on casino and iGaming topics • Produce a steady volume of SEO-driven content supporting BetMGM’s organic search strategy and broader content goals • Write and publish a minimum of 20 in-depth blog articles per month • Develop shorter articles addressing targeted user search queries or providing timely coverage of BetMGM and MGM Resorts casino events • Create keyword-focused page copy • Contribute to one-off digital content projects such as video scripts, interactive tools, and related initiatives • Develop strategic content initiatives around premium casino game launches • Participate in strategic planning to amplify existing content and promote pillar company initiatives • Fulfill copy requests from teams inside or outside digital marketing, including CRM and partnerships • Cooperate with the social media team to leverage popular or trending content • Partner with the SEO Analyst to optimize new or existing blog articles and maximize organic exposure • Align with external partners like TMI on important content development projects • Identify topics for casino digital PR-led activities • Assist with operational tasks including data entry, sourcing photos, editing, and presentation decks

🎯 Requirements

• Three years minimum experience in a professional role writing high-quality content within the gaming industry, specifically under the Casino or iGaming vertical, is required • Expertise in the US online casino space is preferred • Journalism, English, or another relevant field • Must be proficient in AP Stylebook • Minimum three years of experience publishing in WordPress • Beginner-to-intermediate SEO knowledge is preferred, including basic understanding of keyword research, optimization, and internal linking practices • Experience working in large organizations, coordinating, and liaising with multiple departments and stakeholders • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage timelines and priority of projects over several internal teams • Experience presenting online and in person • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics preferred • Good communication, analytics, project management, writing, copywriting, article ideation, and organizational skills • Excellent analytical, proactive, and communication skills with a data-driven mindset • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and desire to continuously improve and develop professionally • Willingness to learn and/or familiarity with AI tools and platforms is a plus • Basic photo editing skills using tools like BeFunky and/or Photoshop are a plus • Must possess legal authorization to work for the company in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship • Must comply with applicable gaming licensing requirements and responsible gambling policies • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
