📋 Description

• Develop and submit complete, accurate funding proposals and grant applications aligned with SYHealth quality standards • Conduct data queries and research using internal and external sources • Review RFPs, NOFOs, and grant instructions to address program design, narratives, budgets, reporting, and funder requirements • Collaborate with department directors to understand proposed programs and projects • Serve as internal lead and primary contact for assigned grant projects • Support grant budget development and coordinate with the Grant Accounting Manager • Maintain understanding of SYHealth’s history, structure, objectives, programs, strategic plan, and financial needs • Coordinate planning discussions across multiple levels of the health center • Maintain organized grant files and related documentation • Participate in trainings, workshops, conferences, meetings, and committees • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required • 3 years of professional-level grant writing preferred • Experience in a nonprofit organization, community clinic, or other health care environment preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication • Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office Software • Knowledge of government and private funding sources and practices • Excellent grammar and writing • Strong research skills • Broad knowledge of sources of information and statistics at national, state, and county levels • Must complete I-9 and application requirements • Must pass physical, background, and reference checks • Must complete pre-employment PPDs • Compliance with all mandated vaccinations and boosters
