📋 Description

• Commission, modify, troubleshoot, and support equipment at customer locations or where needed • Commission automated controls for supplied or modified equipment • Design and execute on-site acceptance test procedures with the Project Manager and customer • Create and/or review technical documentation for accuracy with the Project Manager • Provide the technical interface between customers and the Project Manager • Provide remote technical support for customers • Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and troubleshooting • Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs • Handle, burn, and restore EPROMs and Ghost images • Interface with the BEUMER IT team during commissioning and troubleshooting • Program and maintain Fanuc robots and tools • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and project personnel • Communicate commissioning and troubleshooting activities in daily, weekly, or requested formats • Travel domestically and internationally 80% of the time • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent • Electro/mechanical skills • High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to interpret circuit diagrams • Experience with Siemens S7, Ladder and STL programs, and Allen Bradley (all lines) • Ability to troubleshoot • Remote software handling • Basic database functionality • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Heavy lifting/material handling skills • Professionalism • Excellent time management ability • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally 80% of the time • Must be able to travel to project locations for extended periods
