📋 Description

• Manage client service and business development for BGA’s global Energy, Climate & Resources business • Build and execute BGA’s global business development agenda for the ECR sector • Identify industries, issues, and companies where BGA can add value and pursue opportunities with country experts • Lead regional and single-market business pursuits, including scopes of work, RFP responses, and pitches • Develop competitive service offerings and commercial proposals • Represent BGA at industry forums and events and generate new business leads • Improve business development and sales processes and coordinate efforts among internal stakeholders • Manage global ECR client relationships and serve as the key point of contact for regional client counterparts • Develop understanding of clients’ business models, initiatives, challenges, and opportunities in BGA markets • Improve client services and support cross-country ECR teams through workshops, training, and capacity building • Lead retention strategies to preserve and grow client relationships • Track and report global sector performance, business performance, new business, and opportunities • Update Salesforce for revenue projections and forecasting • Analyze business trends and advise leadership on strategies, resource investments, and recruitment • Develop a network of policymakers, diplomats, journalists, corporate professionals, business associations, think tanks, and academic institutions • Serve as a subject matter expert, internal educator, and public thought leader in ECR policy

🎯 Requirements

• Based in Asia; candidates from the United States and Singapore are encouraged to apply • Relevant work authorization required • Keen understanding of the geopolitical and regulatory environment in the Indo-Pacific • Fluent English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in an Asian language is a strong plus • Minimum bachelor’s degree • Graduate degree in business, public policy, public affairs, international affairs, journalism, or related fields preferred • 5–10 years of experience in government, multinational corporations, journalism, and/or consulting in the ECR sector strongly preferred • Demonstrated experience and passion in energy, climate, environment, resource policy, or related fields • Aptitude for public speaking, project presentations, and engagement with corporate representatives, civil society, and media • Superb interpersonal skills with international counterparts • Proficiency in MS Office and basic internet applications • Enthusiasm and ability to learn and adopt new technologies • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in high-pressure situations • Ability to manage multiple work streams while meeting deadlines • Highly self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, collegial, flexible, proactive, and efficient
