📋 Description

• Create and execute territory plans with effective travel plans • Align with regional resources to understand territorial differences in opportunity and profit potential • Position BHHC as the market of choice with agents and identified target markets • Search for new agency appointments, prospect meetings, book transfer opportunities, and additional agency production sources • Monitor agency growth and profitability and identify performance gaps, trends, and issues • Develop agency profit improvement and growth plans • Manage agency partnerships to achieve minimum premium standards and growth goals • Process agency appointments and terminations and initiate renewal strategy discussions • Conduct in-person agency visits and participate in prospect meetings, claims reviews, meet and greets, and stewardship meetings • Coordinate strategic co-travel with Underwriting, Client Services, and Loss Control teams • Educate agents on BHHC’s value proposition, target markets, acquisition opportunities, territory goals, and service model • Participate in weekly underwriting meetings and support opportunities by industry, class code, and segment • Gather, analyze, and evaluate competitor information and territory opportunities • Develop action plans using competitor intelligence and provide input for Agency Marketing Reviews • Collaborate with Marketing, Underwriting, and IT to improve templates, systems, and product offerings • Maintain accurate Producer Profiles, Business Plans, Agency Files, Bravo contacts, President’s Circle information, and activity reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in the workers compensation insurance industry is required, preferably in a Marketing or Underwriting role • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations • Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Able to effectively present information to management and public groups • Able to develop, implement and communicate company programs, new business requirements, and agency action plans • Proficient on the Microsoft Office Suite • Able to quickly master proprietary and vended software applications • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
