📋 Description

• Evaluate and resolve all components of first- and third-party auto and garagekeeper’s claims • Conduct claim investigations from a remote office setting • Adjust commercial auto and garagekeeper’s claims at an appropriately rapid but careful pace • Handle business automobile-related property damage and minor bodily injury claims • Investigate losses from start to finish • Secure recorded statements from all parties to a loss • Identify coverage issues and complete coverage question analysis • Draft coverage correspondence • Obtain and review estimates, reports, and other evidence • Handle first-party damages, PIP, medical payments, and UM/UIM claims • Handle third-party property damage and bodily injury claims • Handle repairable, total loss, fire, theft, glass-only, cargo, in-tow, and trailer interchange claims • Handle non-attorney-represented and attorney-represented claims • Evaluate claim valuation accurately, set reserves, and seek authority • Process payments • Maintain claim files according to established best claim practice guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong letter writing skills • Strong organizational and computer skills • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize • Self-motivator who works independently with minimal to moderate supervision • Strong ability to understand and review policy documentation • Ability to formulate action plans to resolve claims • Ability to effectively present files in front of groups • Ability to travel for company / claim related events if needed • Obtain and maintain all required state licenses • Bachelor's degree preferred • Minimum 3 years past experience handling property damage claims or 5 years in a relevant field • Prior experience with bodily injury claims is a plus • Active adjuster license preferred
