📋 Description

• Process regular and off-cycle US payroll, including collecting payroll inputs and calculating payroll to ensure timely payment to employees. • Ensure payroll transactions comply with internal policies, procedures, and government regulations. • Make timely tax payments and file required documents. • Provide backup support to team members and participate in knowledge sharing. • Maintain process documentation and suggest efficiency and systems optimization improvements. • Resolve employee and stakeholder tickets and requests promptly. • Collaborate with other departments on payroll-related projects and initiatives. • Support Canada payroll processing as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in finance, accounting, management, or equivalent professional payroll training/coursework. • 2+ years of payroll processing experience. • Understanding of US payroll tax laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payroll. • Competence in auditing payroll records and reports for accuracy and compliance. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Experience in managing the execution of defined actions and monitoring completion with multiple stakeholders. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Ability to work Eastern Standard hours. • E-Verify employment authorization context in the United States.
