📋 Description

• Own Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure, emphasizing security, reliability, and quality • Evaluate infrastructure and recommend improvements for reliability, security, availability, scalability, and cost management • Implement site reliability tools, monitoring, early-warning and alert systems, and observability across Gov cloud environments • Respond to infrastructure outages and participate in 24x7 support strategy through an on-call rotation with weekend shifts • Design architecture and conduct engineering operations at scale • Participate in code reviews, learn and share technical knowledge • Contribute to and mature incident management and escalation processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine priorities and deliverables • Evaluate and identify opportunities for initiatives supporting organizational needs • Create and maintain standard operating procedures • Manage vulnerabilities and perform security remediations

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required • Work must be conducted on U.S. territory when specified by the U.S. government • Minimum 5 years of experience with FedRAMP (Moderate/High levels), continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management • Production experience with incident response and on-call rotations • Strong working knowledge of cloud networking and traffic management (CNI, Istio) • Expertise with multi-region deployments in AWS, Azure, or GCP • Demonstrable production Kubernetes experience, including Managed Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, and kOps • AI fluency with AI-assisted workstreams and AI tooling • Competency with at least one programming language, such as C#, Python, or Go • Experience with cloud deployment and automation tools/methodologies, such as GitOps, Terraform, or Pulumi • Ability to maintain discretion, handle sensitive information, and improve security best practices • Curiosity, resourcefulness, and pragmatism • Collaborative and adaptable mindset • Openness, authenticity, and excellent communication skills • Excitement for open source and better internet security • Excellent problem-solving skills • Nice-to-haves: distributed monitoring, data engineering, startup experience, open source experience, Bitwarden use, or prior SaaS experience
