📋 Description

• Advise emerging companies on the full range of employment matters as they hire, scale, and restructure • Draft, review, and advise on employment agreements, offer letters, contractor and consulting arrangements, and separation agreements • Counsel founders on hiring, worker classification, wage and hour compliance, and employment terms accompanying equity grants • Draft and maintain workplace policies and employee handbooks across multiple states • Guide clients through terminations, reductions in force, severance, and releases • Advise on restrictive covenants, confidentiality, and IP assignment • Support workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment matters, and responses to agency charges • Identify recurring matter patterns and improve templates, clauses, and playbooks • Provide input on AI-powered legal workflows • Help define legal delivery standards, client communication, and matter management processes

🎯 Requirements

• 4–10 years at a leading law firm or in-house • Significant experience advising on US employment matters • Licensed to practice in a US jurisdiction • Strong commercial instincts • Ability to give clear, practical advice in time-sensitive and high-stakes situations • Openness to changing how routine legal work gets done
