📋 Description

• Serve as the program engineering interface across renewable generation, transmission, storage, gas generation, and data center infrastructure • Ensure program engineering execution for large-scale integrated energy campuses from early-stage development through project execution • Coordinate with clients, internal and third-party engineers, designers, and integration parties • Interface with internal engineering teams and third-party design firms toward Issued for Construction drawings • Manage RFIs and design changes; support commissioning and as-builts • Ensure designs meet contractual, technical, safety, and quality requirements • Coordinate and lead design reviews at each design milestone • Coordinate and integrate technical activities across engineering projects and services • Direct, review, or approve project designs and technology integration • Lead global engineering department initiatives • Partner with project managers during construction to communicate design intent and audit requirements • Identify cost impacts of design changes and communicate them to project management and procurement • Collaborate on survey, geotechnical, civil, hydrology, SWPPP, and structural engineering • Maintain engineering schedules and budgets • Review and approve project materials and obtain Engineer of Record approvals • Ensure accurate material takeoffs for procurement • Coordinate regularly scheduled calls between applicable parties • Ensure compliance with ASTM, OSHA, NESC, NEC, NFPA, and other safety standards • Ensure design deliverables support procurement and project schedules • Review project changes and provide recommendations • Perform economic analysis and value engineering • Travel to support site teams and lead design reviews • Identify opportunities to streamline work and reduce waste • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, or related degree from an ABET accredited college required • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred • Six or more years of progressive engineering, engineering supervisory, and/or construction/field related experience in a related industry required • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR) • Effective communication skills (oral, written, listening, presentation) • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people/resources • Strong judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to travel for project-based purposes; estimated travel up to 25% of the time • Combined renewables and gas generation focused experience • PE licensure with an emphasis in electrical engineering • Advanced knowledge of equipment and practices used in power plant construction • Must hold valid, independent work authorization; company cannot sponsor H-1B visas or permanent residency
