📋 Description

• Drive North America growth across multiple industries through the pre-sales motion • Build delivery standards and support effective delivery • Partner with Client Partners and Business Development Leaders to drive sales efforts around data platform and AI application architectures • Support proposals, workshops, and other sales activities • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution demonstrations • Engage AWS field technical teams to co-develop solutions and strengthen joint co-sell motions • Ensure smooth pre-sales-to-delivery handoffs and maintain solution integrity and client confidence • Serve as Blend’s primary AWS advocate in North America client-facing engagements • Establish best-practice recommendations with architects and AI Engineers across regions • Create an AWS community to support teams and maintain current AWS approaches • Coordinate upskilling and collaboration with AWS counterparts • Contribute to thought leadership through case studies, blog posts, and speaking engagements • Lead leadership touchpoints within Blend and with AWS • Work with client CTOs and CIOs to whiteboard solution designs and communicate complex concepts to executive audiences • Identify opportunities to drive additional client value using AWS and translate technical capabilities into business opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data or platform architectures • At least 5 years in cloud architecture, solution engineering, or technical pre-sales with a deep focus on AWS • Strong understanding of AI and deep usage experience • Hands-on expertise across AWS compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, ML/AI (SageMaker, Bedrock), and serverless services • Strong understanding of real-time and batch architectures across analytical and agentic systems • Demonstrated ability to work with sales teams in a pre-sales or solution engineering capacity • Strong track record designing and presenting AWS-based solutions to enterprise audiences at technical and executive levels • Experience engaging with AWS field teams and navigating co-sell processes, partner programs, and AWS Marketplace • Exceptional communication skills with fluency in technical architecture discussions and business value storytelling • AWS certifications required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certifications (Data, ML, Security) strongly preferred • Advanced degree preferred • Experience with data engineering, generative AI, or agentic AI workloads on AWS is a strong differentiator
