• Write cultivation materials, impact reports, and targeted collateral for donor cultivation activities and solicitations • Own voice and messaging from Executive Leadership to high-level donors • Develop decks, overviews, speaking points, video scripts, acknowledgements, correspondence, and collateral materials • Liaise and strategize with business partners across the enterprise • Drive reviews and approvals of materials • Serve as a subject matter expert on mission priorities, programs, and funding opportunities • Provide strategic guidance connecting donor interests with mission-driven impact • Build and maintain relationships with Mission teams • Develop and maintain systems, templates, and resource libraries • Implement scalable communications processes, templates, and workflows • Develop project plans, timelines, and production schedules • Identify process improvement and innovation opportunities • Track and evaluate program metrics • Develop and deliver training, onboarding, and educational resources for Philanthropy staff • Maintain organized, accessible, and current communications resources • Foster adoption of communications tools, templates, and best practices
• Bachelor's Degree; relevant coursework or certifications in nonprofit management, communications, or fundraising a plus • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible related experience in donor communications, donor stewardship, or major gifts in a nonprofit organization • Experience writing about complex medical and scientific content for a lay audience • Experience with design and formatting, aligning with organizational brand standards • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite • Experience in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Canva a plus
