📋 Description

• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize network software and communication links • Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems • Ensure systems operate securely, efficiently, and reliably • Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues • Conduct capacity and performance analysis • Recommend system configuration changes and upgrades • Develop automated tools, scripts, and system administrator procedures • Conduct system administrator training and skills assessments • Provide end-user training • Recommend technology direction aligned with the business vision • Provide local and remote maintenance support for operational systems across multiple locations • Perform maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications • Direct other system administrators in day-to-day system administration, optimization, and user assistance • Apply advanced application-networking knowledge, including load balancing and fault tolerance • Perform vulnerability management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field • Secret Clearance • DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, or SSCP • 10+ years of specialized progressive experience in Information Processing and related fields • 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software • One or more Computing Environment certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MS .NET Developer Associate, or Azure Enterprise Administrator Expert • Experience with Windows, Windows Server, Unix, Linux, Amazon Linux, PowerShell, and Bash scripting • Experience with programming languages including SQL, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, or Rust • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, and cloud migration • Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, Docker, and Kubernetes • Experience with database and performance tools such as Oracle AWR, SQL Profiler, PostgreSQL, EXPLAIN, or Performance Monitor • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning, including RMAN, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server Always On, and point-in-time recovery • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, PowerShell DSC, Azure ARM Templates, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins • Experience with IP subnetting, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, Wireshark, netstat, and traceroute • Experience securing sensitive data through encryption, RBAC, auditing, data masking, failover clusters, replication, snapshots, and RTO/RPO • Experience with patch management, system hardening, log analysis, threat detection, monitoring, and performance tuning • Familiarity with cloud database platforms • Master's degree in a relevant field is desired
