📋 Description

• Spend approximately 85% of time on project work, 5% on administrative work, and 10% on business development • Lead project design and attend to client relationships • Serve as a technical expert and/or individual contributor on highly specialized workstreams • Manage projects to exemplary client satisfaction with minimal project oversight • Recognize business opportunities with existing clients and work with leadership to pursue them • Proactively conduct outreach and source new clients and RFPs • Design scalable, repeatable training and capacity-building curricula and adult-learning frameworks for governmental public health clients • Collaborate with the evaluation team on training-needs assessments and workforce capacity diagnostics • Advise on train-the-trainer models, peer learning, and sustainability planning • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical assistance related to local public health outreach, engagement, tools, and resources • Develop and facilitate trainings for meetings, presentations, and legislative outreach • Build and maintain relationships with local public health leaders, municipal officials, and partner organizations • Assess readiness, identify implementation barriers, and recommend targeted strategies • Lead development of implementation evaluation frameworks and success indicators • Document technical-assistance activity, resource use, partner feedback, implementation outcomes, and emerging needs • Translate field intelligence into recommendations for strategy refinement, resource updates, and future capacity-building priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience required, including 4 or more years in a consulting firm environment • Master's degree in Public Health, health education, adult learning, public administration, or a related field • Minimum 5 years client-facing experience, including 2 or more years in project leadership roles • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment • Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance, coaching, training, or implementation support to public-sector, public health, or community-serving organizations • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in workforce development, including competency-based curriculum design, recruitment and retention strategies, and workforce development planning, with governmental or public health clients • Strong adult-learning, facilitation, and relationship-management skills • Ability to translate strategy into practical action for audiences with varied roles, experience, and capacity • Proven ability to manage a high-trust, client-facing portfolio of requests while documenting needs, coordinating follow-up, and maintaining consistency across partners • Applicants must be living in Massachusetts and/or have a deep knowledge of Massachusetts’ public health landscape • Must be able to work within the U.S. home-office environment • BME Strategies is unable to sponsor work-related visas
